  6. Hello!

  8. I want to take this opportunity to officially introduce myself.  I am
  9. Darren Smith, Communications Specialist at NeXT.  As some of you may
  10. already know, I will be taking over many of Conrad Geiger's
  11. responsibilities.
  12.  
  13.  
  14. I've been working at NeXT in Redwood City, Calif., for about a year
  15. and a half in the technical support department. My primary
  16. responsibility has been supporting customers with system
  17. administration issues on both the Motorola and Intel platform as well
  18. as additional projects.

  21. I am currently transitioning to the Communications Specialist job and
  22. will be officially in my new job as of January 1. I will focus on 3
  23. primary areas:   User Groups, net posting and communications to
  24. NeXT's direct sales force.
  25.  
  26. One of my first priorities after the New Year is make sure that you
  27. are getting the type of information that you want from NeXT.  I will
  28. be working on this over the next month or two.  If you receive a
  29. message from me to your alias, please respond with your direct email
  30. address so that I can add you to the appropriate list.  If you get
  31. more than one copy of a posting (and don't want more than one!),
  32. please email me back directly, and specify from which of the aliases
  33. you received the posting.  Don't worry if you don't hear from me with
  34. this "administrative" communication, all it means is that I already
  35. have your direct address.  You will continue to receive the postings
  36. as you do now.
